over 100- better
100- standard
below 100- worse
Wear rating is converted by the wear ratio, which is tested with the standard condition in the proving ground appointed by American government. For example, the wear ratio of a type is 200, which means that it can run twice the time than the type—its wear ratio is 100—in the proving ground appointed by the government. Actually, the tire wear ratio is related to the conditions of usage, such as the driving habits, pavement behavior, climate and position, which all have an impact on the wear ratio. NOTE: the wear ratio is only applicable to one manufacturer's product, different brands cannot be compared.
